    Tradeswomen Inc. is hosting our California Women in Apprenticeship Training Institute on June 16th in Oakland from 9 am to 3:30 pm at the downtown Cal State East Bay Center. The venue is easily accessible from the Airport via Rapid Transit with nearby parking. Registration information will be posted shortly.

    Tradeswomen Inc. hopes that you will join us to share a day with other industry professionals dedicated to Diversity, Equity Inclusion and Accessibility for women in the trades. This is a unique moment where we can come together, share best practices and proven strategies to make a difference for California women. The State DIR has just announced $25 million in grants focused on Women in Construction. The Federal Infrastructure funding  has committed billions of dollars for construction projects in California. The US DOL and the major federal funding agencies have put resources and policies in place to increase DEIA on these construction projects.

     If your work involves a part of the women in apprenticeship and retention pipeline, if you are an ERiCA grantee, an apprenticeship director or instructor, a pre-apprenticeship manager or case manager, a contractor, a union, a public agency charged with construction diversity, part of community college or high school Career Technical Education, a job developer, a case manager, a community organizer linked to construction and apprenticeship, please join us!
