The National Tradeswomen Taskforce is hosting a Childcare Workshop
Childcare Strategies that Work for Tradeswomen
September 28 2021 at 6:30pm Eastern / 3:30pm Pacific
Strategies Include:
-The Moore Community House Women in Construction Program in Mississippi, a unique combination of construction/manufacturing job training for women and child care assistance.
-Boston area “Care That Works” formed by a coalition of grassroots community groups and labor unions to offer a non-standard-hour child care pilot.
-Oregon’s child care assistance fund for apprentices paid for from Federal Highway and local workforce dollars.
