IBEW 1245 OFFERING SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE VOLTA TRAINING CENTER

IBEW 1245 is actively seeking candidates with an interest in pursuing a career in the electrical line trade. To support this endeavor, we have established the Jairus Ayeta Scholarship in honor of a IBEW 1245 apprentice who was the victim of a fatal workplace tragedy on August 4, 2018 while restoring power at the Carr Fire ouside Redding, California.

IBEW 1245 will be offering scholarships for the Volta Training Center and their pole climbing school.  This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who is interested in becoming a lineman but has little to no experience. Successful individuals will be awarded a scholarship to Volta Training Center in Oregon, the Northwest JATC sanctioned school.
