DISTRICT COUNCIL 16 APPRENTICESHIP OPENINGS – PAINTERS, TAPERS, GLAZIERS AND DRYWALLERS
Applications Deadline: Call Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM to get a list for testing.
Apprenticeship Application Information
To become a proud member of District Council 16 Apprenticeship Programs you must first contact the administration office to register for testing at 510-785-.8467.
Testing space is limited. To reserve your space for testing, YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT IN ADVANCE. You must bring your required documents on your test day–this includes your valid drivers license and social security card. If you appear on a test day without an appointment you may be placed on a waiting list with no guarantee of being tested that day.
Auxillary testing may be added as needed. After completing the application process and passing the exam, applicants will receive a blank Sponsor letter and then be referred to a local union to obtain a signatory contractor list. After obtaining employment, the completed Sponsor letter must be emailed to appapp@dc16jattf.org or faxed to 866-884-4856. Once the Sponsor letter and a work referral are received by the administrative office, the applicant will be confirmed as an active apprentice.
