What is Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship is a combination of on-the-job training and related classroom instruction in which workers learn the practical and theoretical aspects of a highly skilled occupation.

Upon written request an application will be emailed to you or sent by USPS Mail to the address you provide. When returning the application packet, you must include color photo copies or color PDF versions of the following documents: .
- Driver’s License
- Birth Certificate or Passport
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
- Official, Sealed Transcripts showing one of the following:
- One year of high school algebra with a passing grade
- One semester of college algebra with a passing grade
- DD-214 if applicable
- Applicants with previous electrical construction experience should bring documents demonstrating proof of experience such as; W2 forms, most recent paycheck stub.
Upon submitting a properly completed application with supporting documentation the applicant will be scheduled for the next available Aptitude Test. The Aptitude Test is a 2 1⁄2 hour exam which covers Reading Comprehension and Algebra, and are scheduled at various times during the year. When reporting to the Aptitude Test the applicant will be required to provide the original documents listed above for verification.
Upon completing the Aptitude Test with a passing grade the applicant will be scheduled for an Oral Interview with the Apprenticeship Committee. Applicants will be selected for indenture into the Apprenticeship Program in order of their final ranking. Prior to being indentured, applicants will be required to submit to and pass a drug test.
